On the back of the interest generated from the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber Business Breakfast event, I am seeking expressions of interest to conduct an Emergency Planning Committee training course in Wagga Wagga.
I would look at running this full day session sometime in May at a venue TBA (suggestions welcome).
The successful completion of the accredited units would qualify participants as “Competent Persons” under the legislation to sit on the EPC.
“At least one member must be a competent person
- A person who has acquired through training, education, qualification, experience or a combination of these, the knowledge and skills enabling him/her to correctly perform the required task.”

Successful completion of the course will award you a nationally recognised statement of attainment from our accreditation provider Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) in the units ;
- PUAWER001B – Identify, prevent and report potential workplace emergency situations
- PUAWER002B – Ensure workplace prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented
- PUAWER007B Manage an emergency control organisation
